About the Major
Biology is the process of inquiry using observation, modeling and experimentation to investigate living organisms, their evolution, and their interactions with the environment. Your learning experiences will reveal the intricacies of the natural world and provide useful research skills.
We offer both a major (BS) and a minor in biology.
Areas of Study
Diversity; anatomy and physiology of animals, plants, and other organisms; genetics; ecology; and evolution are just some of the topics in this multi-faceted major.
